Lest we forget.

Here in Canada, it is Remembrance Day. We all wear our poppies with pride to remember the soldiers who have fought for us. For many in my generation, it was our grandparents and great-grandparents who fought in the world wars.

With all wars, there is always great sadness whenever we loose one of our young men or women. At the end of a war, there can be a renewal of life. For example, the poppies growing over the graves in Flanders fields.

Today we remember, and we also pray for peace and a safe return for the soldiers who are still out there.
