R n R

Often times our soles require some rest and relaxation; an escape from the everyday. My husband and I recently took a vacation without our kids, and now we feel rested and rejuvenated.

While on vacation we did not have a set agenda. We felt quite happy hanging out at the beach, or taking a rain soaked hike through a rainforest. Even when we met up with our friends, we still took our time, enjoyed some great food, and hung out at some more beaches.

Our soles felt recharged and ready to face the everyday again. I even found myself feeling calmer around my girls.

You don’t need to travel the world to find a place to recharge. It could be as simple as a quiet place in a park or your yard, or a small oasis in your own home. It could be for 15 minutes, or it could be for weeks, months, or even years.

Make the time to relax and enjoy the beauty that surrounds you.
