I was driving my kids to daycare the other day when I heard them say, “X, for X marks the spot. It’s like a treasure in the sky.” I was then trying to figure out what they were seeing. There in the sky were two contrails crossing together to make a giant X.
To me, the treasure was watching the excitement of my girls looking at this X, and listening to the vivid stories they imagined about this mythical treasure. The kids certainly remind me to view life from a different angle everyday. It is important to take time from our rushing about to stop and look up every once and awhile.
