Population

4. Population: None.
It is known that there are an infinite number of worlds, simply because there is an infinite amount of space for them to be in. However, not every one of them is inhabited. Therefore, there must be a finite number of inhabited worlds. Any finite number divided by infinity is as near to nothing as makes no odds, so the average population of all the planets in the universe can be said to be zero. From this it follows that the population of the whole universe is also zero, and that any people you may meet from time to time are merely the products of a deranged imagination.

Love across the universe

Lately I’ve been reading a book called The Divine Matrix by Gregg Braden. In this book Braden explores the mysteries that bind this universe together. How we are all linked, not only to each other, yet everything in this universe is linked to everything else.

James Cameron’s movie, Avatar, touches on this topic as well. Although it focuses on how all life on Pandora is connected.

I believe everything in this universe is connected somehow. Even more so than the average person can fathom today. This belief of mine was even mystified further on Valentines Day. This past February 14th, our earthly planet bade it’s goodbyes to my lovely grandmother. I was at work when I found out the news. I was talking to a co-worker who knew my grandfather had pre-deceased her, and she said how sweet it was for my grandma to join her love on Valentines day. Now is this a coincidence, or is it truly a story of two star crossed lovers as Shakespeare may say?

Could it be the bond between our souls is much tighter than originally anticipated? Heart Math has proved how in a room full of people the resting heart rates will actually synchronize. Studies have also shown, and have been personally experienced, how when intention, such as intending to call your mom, can result in a phone call from your mother herself. Transplant patients have been known to feel or sometimes become like their donor who donated the organ. Twins have been known to communicate with one another without actually physically communicating. They “just know.” So is it quite possible our lives are much more greatly entwined?

I was told when my grandparents met, it was love at first sight. I know in my own relationship there was a time before we started dating where I knew Ryan was the one for me. The universe’s ways are a mystery. When we are meant to be together, the universe has a way of unfolding events to make things happen. When something doesn’t go according to plan, pause and ask yourself to accept this new path as there could be a better door awaiting you at the end of the tunnel.

We are connected

I find it truly amazing at how small our world, galaxy and universe actually are. How everything is intermingled and co-dependent. I’m not into understanding the math behind quantum physics (really was not a fan of the complex equations in calculus), I am more intrigued by the theories and the social impact. The tv series, Touch connects numbers and geometric shapes with people. It has quickly become one of my favorite shows. Tonight it talked about

the quickest way to get from point A to B is a straight line…yet when that path is blocked, the universe finds a way to get around it

Technology today has allowed our world to become even smaller. A simple blog such as this one can be read all around the globe as soon as I hit “publish”.

It is fascinating how we are drawn to certain people in our lives. I have many interesting stories on this one. One of my favorites was when my husband and I were planning our wedding. I went to a bridal fair with my mom and sister, and while I was there I was drawn to this particular booth, Calgary Fit Brides. I immediately connected with Adrianne, the personal trainer who was running the program. I took his information and when I got home, told my husband I had to do this program. Ry wanted to do the program as well, so Adrianne customized it so we could train as a couple. Through this program we received a free nutrition seminar and counseling session. This is where we met our great friend, Lars. Lars quickly became a great friend, he is even the Godfather to our daughters. He is also the one who encouraged me to start blogging so I could connect with each of you reading this blog.

The idea of everything being connected has been around since the beginning of time itself. Religions believe in it; shamans and medicine people believe in it. It has been studied in projects such as the Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon. It has been described in films such as What the Bleep: Down the Rabbit Hole.

What is your story of how we are all connected?
